what our guests have said

We purchased Jasmine Cottage in March 2011 and intend to improve upon the excellent service and style which the previous owners have delivered. The following are guest comments since March 2011 and in case you are wondering, we always put customers comments on the website unless they ask us not to and we do not edit them in any way.

Venita, Liz, Elsie-Mae & Faith the dog – November 2011
"Beautiful cottage, so comfortable and well equipped. We had a lovely week in this lovely village, just a shame that the week went so quickly! Many thanks!!"

Lisa, Dave, Kate, Georgia & Roxy the dog - Walsall - October 2011
" Beautiful cottage, so quaint. We have thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay in this lovely peaceful village. Very well equipped cottage and lovely comfortable beds. It has been a lovely relaxing weekend. Thank you!"

Jan, Steve, Alice and Georgia - Hertfordshire - October 2011
" Lovely cottage in a beautiful village. Very comfy beds! Everything you need is here. Local shop is very friendly and stocked everything we went in for. Bakewell, Matlock, Ashbourne all wonderful and some stunning/easy walking. We all enjoyed our stay."

Sue and Peter Hampson - East Sussex - October 2011
" Good to be back at Jasmine Cottage, which has been our bolthole in the North for some years now. It remains as warm and welcoming as ever, and the addition of WiFi and a new TV are very welcome!"

The Bond family - Lincolnshire - October 2011
"Lovely cottage, well equipped and clean. We had a fab weekend. Walked up Kinder Scout. Fab weather. Would recommend to friends. Thank you"

Roger Collins - Suffolk - September 2011
"A charming cottage well suited to a couple with one or two children seeking either a walking holiday or peace and quiet. We found it well supplied with washing up liquid, loo rolls, cling film and all those  little items so easily forgotten yet often not supplied elsewhere. Comfy beds. Excellent kitchen. I found the shower a little difficult to adjust and use. Well done! Lovely fires! Really friendly people!"

The Jowitt family and Ozzie the dog - Sheffield - August 2011
"Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely cottage. We had a really enjoyable weekend! Sun every day, but a little cooler at night, but who cares, we had a lovely warm log fire to come back to. The cottage is lovely and homely and is a fantastic place to get away from it all. The people were very friendly and the Bowling Green Inn is the place to eat. Great food and made us very welcome.  The children also enjoyed it (aged 9 and 13). They loved the cottage and its quirkiness and would love to come back. Ozzy the dog has never had some many walks in one day! He loved it. A big thank you"

The Taylor family - Newcastle - August 2011
